Lidio Carraro

A boutique family project in among the big boys, Lidio Carraro winery is a great visit for its more intimate nature. You’ll get to meet one of the family usually and learn about their ‘minimal intervention’ philosophy, letting the wines express themselves without any use of oak ageing and only using native yeasts.

The small tasting room is well equipped and has a series of soil profiles to be able to see the difference between their terroir in Vale dos Vinhedos and their bigger vineyard in Serra do Sudeste. Try the juicy Malbec and Tempranillo, their attractive Nebbiolo and their complex Quorum blend.
