In November 2021, Argentina re-opened its borders to all foreign travellers. These are the requirements for all non-resident foreign travellers, as of December 2021:
Fill an electronic ‘sworn statement’ form within 48 hours of travelling
Must have received a complete course of a vaccine at least 14 days prior to arrival into Argentina and be able to present proof of full vaccination status
Present a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of travelling (children under the age of 6 are exempt)
Have medical insurance with comprehensive cover for COVID-19 covering a minimum of US$30,000
Other considerations
Non-resident foreign travellers who present proof of full vaccination status, have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of travelling, and have medical insurance with comprehensive cover for COVID-19, will not need to self-isolate upon their arrival to Argentina.
Non-resident foreign adults who haven’t received a complete course of a vaccine will not be allowed into Argentina.
Children who do not qualify as fully vaccinated can enter Argentina and don’t need to self-isolate or take a PCR test on the 7th day upon their arrival.
