Fiesta de Vendimia Mendoza: it’s the biggest wine harvest festival in the world, and pulls in hundreds of thousands of visitors and wine lovers each year. If you are planning to come to Mendoza’s harvest festival 2020, here are the key dates you need for your dairy and a breakdown of where to buy tickets for Mendoza’s Vendimia festival.

Saturday 29th February: Bendicion de los Frutos

The blessing of the harvest, one of the most traditional and religious events in the harvest celebration, takes place on Saturday 29th February in San Martin this year. No tickets required.

Friday 6th March: Via Blanca de las Reinas

The night before the big night, the Queens’ Parade is one of the most popular events of the big harvest festival weekend with a parade through the city centre of all the harvest queens, their princesses and their colourful floats. No tickets required.

Saturday 7th March: Carrusel & Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia 2020

The big day. To kick off the big day the Carrusel is an enormous parade through the city centre with all the harvest queens but also gauchos, folk dancers, and my personal favourite – the Bolivian Caporales. No tickets required.

In the evening, the first night of the big Vendimia show takes place in the greek Frank Romero Day theatre where the official Vendimia Queen 2020 is elected.

Prices for the show are as follows:

  • $600 pesos, Malbec sector;
  • $450, Tempranillo;
  • $250, Cabernet;
  • $200, Bonarda and Chardonnay.

Sunday 8th March & Monday 9th March: Harvest show repetitions
