Clos des Fous, Felicea Riesling
Pale gold
Light petrol aromas give this away at first whiff as a Riesling and then the delicate citrus, green plum and wild herbal notes invade the glass, inviting you to sniff a bit deeper.
Taut, linear and vibrant. This is a mouthwatering wine and its killer acidity matched by fat and body promises that this can age well for a long time to come.
This dry Riesling would work nicely with oysters, but you could equally enjoy it with Thai green papaya salad.
Alcohol: 14%
Acidity: 4.58 g/l
PH: 3.05
Tasted over 2 day period. Winery Sample.

Riesling is finally having its moment in the sun in Chile and this Riesling from the cooler climate of Malleco shows just how true to character Chilean Riesling can be. Coming from the excellent team at the biodynamic vineyard Clos des Fous, it has all the trademarks of a great Riesling (petrol notes and citrus) with the killer acidity you can expect from Malleco.
Check out their Chardonnay from Malleco too.
