More about the wine

The Finca Piedra Infinita Supercal is an exemplary wine from one of Argentina’s leading new generation vignerons, Sebastián Zuccardi. Power and finesse overarch a mille-feuille of violet, mineral and juicy black forest fruit aromas. It has a precise, long, chalky and somewhat breath-taking finish that lingers for moments. A grand cru of Altamira, which will age well. Its little brother ‘Piedra Infinita’ is of similar ilk and another top pour from the region.

More about the winery

Alberto Zuccardi planted the first vineyards in the east of Mendoza, and the family grew into one of the most important wine-producing companies in Argentina under father José Alberto Zuccardi. The story now continues with grandson Sebastian Zuccardi who is one of the most forward-thinking winemakers in Argentina and this winery showcases all the developments of the Zuccardi brand which is now focused on premium-end wines from the Uco Valley.

Keeping a precise expression of terroir is all part of winemaker Seba Zuccardi’s philosophy and is reflected in their austere, focused and precise wines — whether from San Pablo, Gualtallary or the Paraje Altamira vineyard surrounding the winery.

Piedra Infinita is the name of the home estate, because of the infinite stones (piedras) that were found there, and it is also the name of their popular restaurant that overlooks the vines.
