This small independent brand is the brainchild of Peruvian Pisco-producer Pepe Moquillaza and renowned Argentine winemaker Matias Michelini. Together you get the Mi (Michelini) and the Mo (Moquillaza). The Mimo winery is Peru’s Ica valley where they are championing Pisco and Criolla varieties, some of which are native to Peru, for winemaking. Mimo is also working on a revival of ancestral winemaking techniques – using ceramic pots and amphorae.
