Bodegas RE
About Bodegas RE
Bodegas RE comes from one of Casablanca’s most exciting wine producers and most prominent families. Pablo Morande Senior pioneered the Casablanca region in the 1980s and this is his personal family winery, which he started in 2008, with winemaking son Pablo Morande Junior.
Bodegas RE winery is quite unlike any other Chile – it homes clay amphorae, has wines ageing under flor and there’s an entire room dedicated to vinegar. Bodegas RE offers exciting, experimental and often excellent wines from its vineyards in Casablanca and Maule. It’s a popular winery to visit in Casablanca for tasting and a bite to eat.

About the winemakers
Pablo Morandé Sr is one of Chile’s best known and loved winemakers, having innovated in many sectors over his long career in the industry. Well known for pioneering Chile’s cool coastal climates, Morandé was also a pioneer of noble rot sweet wines and has long been a champion of the old vines of Chile’s south. He founded Morandé winery, which he continues to consult for, and is now focused on the wines of Bodegas RE.
Pablo Morandé Jr is an adventurous winemaker who has taken after his father’s pioneering spirit. He studied in Chile before working with the family in Morandé winery and co-founding Bodegas RE in 2012.
