Ayllu winery is the collective wine brand of 20 growers in San Pedro de Atacama who make their wines in a boutique co-operative winery among the small oases of the desert.
The social project was spearheaded by the Chilean government and chemical company SQM to help develop a local wine industry in the middle of the driest desert in the world, the Atacama Desert.
