Viñedos Puertas winery in Curicó was first established in 1950 by the Puertas family with 80 hectares of vineyards. Today Viñedos Puertas claims over 850 hectares and has 22 different grape varieties growing including less common varieties such as Sangiovese, Lachryma Christi and Gewürtztraminer. The mainstays are however the classic red varieties grown in Chile and their brands include Caballo Azul, Aguanegra, El Milagro and Tronador. You can tour the winery by foot or bike.
