Estancia Ancón, also known as Château d’Ancón, is a castle and boutique winery in the Uco Valley which was originally built as a holiday home for the Bombal family. The family had a very important status is Mendoza and one of the most central figures is Domingo Bombal Ugarte who was the governor of the province several times between 1863 and 1890.
Nowadays, the castle has been turned into an estancia which welcomes guests in the summer, who can also enjoy their own Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Bonarda and Malbec wines made from high altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley.
