Otronia Patagonia Extrema
Otronia winery is certainly in Patagonia Extrema (extreme Patagonia), in fact, it claims to be the southernmost vineyard in the world – planted at 45’33 S in the wild steppes of Sarmiento, Chubut. Owned by Argentine billionaire, Bulgheroni, this is no small investment and with 50 hectares planted near to a cherry orchard.
Producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a white blend (of Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Gris) to date, there’s surely more to come from this Patagonian portfolio soon.
