Pascual Toso winery was established by an Italian immigrant who came to Argentina from Piedmont in the mid-1880s. In 1890, the Bodegas Toso winery was born and the Italian winemaker continued to plant more vineyards in Maipú and in particular the Barrancas region.
The legacy of Pascual Toso lives on as Bodegas Toso continues to produce a diverse portfolio of wines, with Magdalena Toso as its top wine (a rich blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon from old vines in Barrancas).
