Staphyle

Bodega Staphyle winery is the passion project of the Porretta family who decided to renovate an old winery which was originally built in the 1930. In 2002, the Porretta family turned the building into a boutique winery equipped with modern-day technology and the family enterprise is now best known for its Vastago de Gea range which includes several grape varieties (including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda and Sauvignon Blanc).

The Porretta family also owns the Gran Hotel Potrerillos in the mountains which also has its own vineyards overlooking the Potrerillos dam. The restaurant also serves traditional local dishes to accompany the extensive wine list.
