La Riojana winery is Argentina’s largest wine-cooperative with 500 growers and one of the top 10 wine exporters in the country. Based in the Famatina valley in northern Argentina, the cooperative is also the single largest producer of Fair Trade wines in the world.
In 2013, La Riojana winery committed to support the OPP by making sure that at least fifty percent of the growers are small-scale producers and at least half of the total production comes from these growers. The cooperative also produces a range of organic wines.
