Viña Ventisquero has several wine brands under its command: Ventisquero, Kalfu, Tara, Ramirana, Yali, Root 1. Each has a different focus and often a different vineyard location (Tara in the Atacama Desert being one of Chile’s most extreme plantings).
Although it was only founded in 1998, with over 1,000 hectares of their own vines today, Ventisquero is a major player in Chile. The main Ventisquero winery is located in Cachapoal although you can visit the Ventisquero wineries in Apalta and Trinidad (both in Colchagua) for a tasting.
