Pizzato

Pizzato winery is the passion project of winemaker Flavio Pizzato who inherited vines in the heart of Vale dos Vinhedos and Italian wine knowledge from his family. He took it upon himself to focus on quality and is now one of the best respected independent winemakers in the region.

The original 26 hectares surrounding the small winery in the hills of Vale dos Vinhedos are the vines used for their top Pizzato line, which includes rich Cabernet Sauvignon and complex Chardonnay. The other vineyard is also in Serra Guacha but some 50kms away, where they have 16 hectares that make up their fresh and young line of Fausto wines. Perhaps most exciting of all to taste though, is their sparkling wine range which includes a delicious Nature still on the lees.
