Finca Las Payas is a boutique winery in San Rafael where winemaker Santiago Salgado makes a host of natural wines. Orange wines from Moscato and red wines from Criolla, Ancellota, Corvina, Nero d’Avola, Croatina and Dolcetto are just some the specialities in the quirky and diverse portfolio of Finca Las Payas.
Bodega Malma winery is in San Patricio del Chañar in Neuquén and was founded in 2004. The Malma winery was formally known as NQN, which is still on some of their labels. You can visit Bodega Malma and taste their wines over lunch in the winery restaurant.
Bodega Noemia is the winery of flying winemaker Hans Vinding Diers in Río Negro, Patagonia. With old vine Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot the focus is on a biodynamic and premium wine production. These are red wines that age extremely well, especially the blends A Lisa and J Alberto.
Bodega Chacra is a biodynamic producer in Patagonia’s Rio Negro, owned by Italian wine royalty Piero Incisa della Rocchetta since 2004. Chacra winery is best known for its old vine Pinot Noir (including labels Barda and Sin Azufre) but also makes a small production of Chardonnay under the Mainque and Chacra labels.
