Bodega MEVI is a boutique winery in Maipú which mainly focuses on producing using Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Chardonnay and Syrah grape varieties.
You can visit the spacious tasting room and its two terraces to admire the view of the Andes and vineyards. The winery also serves snacks and light lunches including cheese and empanadas in the relaxed setting of Finca MEVI’s restaurant.
Huarpe Wines pays tribute in its name to the native inhabitants of Mendoza who first built the asequias which were later fundamental for the irrigation of the vineyards. The Huarpe winery is located in Agrelo in Lujan de Cuyo and produces two different lines: the Huarpe Series of blends from various regions in Mendoza and the Taymente line composed of eight single varietal wines.
Bodega Budeguer is a modern winery founded by winemaker Juan Jose Budeguer and his family in 2005. With 100 hectares of vineyards in Maipu, Bodega Budeguer also sources grapes from Lujan de Cuyo and the winery itself is located in Agrelo.
Labels include their top wine, the 4000 Black Blend, and their Tucumen line of single varietal wines including Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. The winery is open for visits and tastings.
Hacienda del Plata winery and family estate is located in the middle of Lujan de Cuyo and has two vineyards nearby: Las Marias in Chacras de Coria (4.5 ha planted) and Castro Barros in Carrodilla (8 ha planted). Bodega Hacienda del Plata winery has an artisan focus and produces a range of quality rich, concentrated red wines including their ZAGAL Cabernet Sauvignon and Mayoral Gran Reserve Malbec.
