Koyle
Koyle is a forward-thinking, biodynamic producer in Colchagua which stems from a long, family history of wine production in Chile. Koyle winery today is spearheaded by fifth-generation vigneron, Cristobal Undurraga, however Koyle winery was only established in 2006. The story actually starts in 1879 when Francisco Undurraga Vicuña brought vine cuttings from Europe and established Undurraga winery in Colchagua, which went on to become one of Chile’s largest wine producers.
When the family sold Undurraga in 2006, they reinvested in a smaller vineyard and winery in Los Lingues, in Alto Colchagua where the production is now focused on biodynamic farming, micro-vinifications of different blocks and premium wines from their estate vineyard in Los Lingues and with a small production from Paradones and Itata.
