Chandon

One of the early foreign investments in Argentina, Moët & Chandon (of Champagne fame) created a sparkling wine outpost in Argentina in 1959. It was the company’s first wine enterprise outside of France and the Chandon winery was revolutionary within Argentina too giving birth to a big sparkling wine industry.

Chandon, based in Luján de Cuyo, is still one of Argentina’s largest sparkling wine producers with an important domestic following and export market.
