We are tasting your Single Vineyard Cabernet Franc from Agrelo and you told me you think this is the perfect place for Cabernet Franc. What is it about Agrelo that gives you this particular character of Cabernet Franc?

It’s a couple of things: this is a high-altitude place, we are at 1.100 m.a.s.l., and the soil has lots of alluvial influence, it has rocks and stone.

I love the smoked red pepper notes you get but really nice freshness on the palate. What is your favorite pairing for your single vineyard Cabernet Franc?

Lamb is a nice combination and the argentine asado. It has very soft tannins but at the same time, it has a nice structure so red meat is perfect for this Cabernet Franc.

One thing I really love about this wine is that is 100% organic and it has fantastic value. How much does this one hit the shelves for?

It is US$25 retail in the wine shop but the idea of this project is to give the consumer a taste of Mendoza and a taste of a part of Agrelo. This Cabernet Franc really shows you the place.
