Bodegas RE is the innovative winery of Pablo Morandé, father and son. Pablo Sr is known for putting Casablanca on the map in the 1980s and has been a tour de force in Chilean wine ever since. While Pablo Jr is known for being at the forefront of Chile’s experimental new generation of winemakers — exploring everything from orange wines aged under flor to unorthodox red blends aged in amphorae.
Bodegas RE is where their innovative worlds collide: in an energetic family winery that isn’t afraid to push the boundaries with thought-provoking wines. Making wines from old vines in Maule and newer vines in Casablanca, the range includes excellent Carignan, daring Chardonnoir (Chardonnay-Pinot Noir blends) and one of Chile’s best noble rot wines. You can dive into the world of RE by visiting this fascinating winery on the Casablanca wine route, and stay for lunch or a picnic.
