Owned by a family but certainly one of the bigger operations in the area, Luigi Bosca winery is a popular visit and a popular wine brand in Argentina with a long history. Visiting the winery in Mendoza, you will see some of the handsome old buildings (from 1901) as well as the modern part of the winery where you can get a good idea of how it all works.
In the tasting room you will have a large variety of wines to pick from including their Luigi Bosca and La Linda labels. As well as an important export segment, Luigi Bosca has a strong domestic market making it one of the favorite wineries to visit for vacationing Argentines.
Some of the most interesting wines to try are the less common varieties wines like the Riesling and Gerwuztraminer, as well as their great Finca Los Nobles single vineyard range and of course their outstanding Icono. They also produce a series of blends in the Gala lines and four decent bubblies.
