The forest fires in Chile were devastating. Many producers lost their vineyards and livelihood in those catastrophic weeks, and several firefighters lost their lives courageously trying to combat the flames.
Vines do however have a remarkable ability to recover, and we wanted to share some beautiful photos that Itata winemaker François Massoc (Clos de Fous, Calyptra, Aristos) took last week – just a couple months after the fires finally went out.
It isn’t the case in all the vineyards affected by the fires, but some of them are beginning to come back to life.
