Ver Sacrum is a boutique winery and wine production using exotic varieties for Mendoza, including Nebbiolo, Garnacha, Monastrell, Marsanne and Roussanne. Ver Sacrum is the passion project of three friends and you can visit one of those friends, Eduardo Soler, in his beautifully restored historic home from 1865 – Finca La Cayetana – where a delicious six-course tasting menu paired with the Ver Sacrum wines awaits.
Almanegra is the winery and brand of Ernesto Catena, from the Catena family wine dynasty. You can visit their biodynamic vineyard and farm in Vista Flores, Domaine Almanegra, where you can taste through some of the portfolio of Almanegra wines including their orange wine and Brut Nature rose.
Finca Las Payas is a boutique winery in San Rafael where winemaker Santiago Salgado makes a host of natural wines. Orange wines from Moscato and red wines from Criolla, Ancellota, Corvina, Nero d’Avola, Croatina and Dolcetto are just some the specialities in the quirky and diverse portfolio of Finca Las Payas.
Bodega Malma winery is in San Patricio del Chañar in Neuquén and was founded in 2004. The Malma winery was formally known as NQN, which is still on some of their labels. You can visit Bodega Malma and taste their wines over lunch in the winery restaurant.
