Viniterra winery was founded by Italian winemaker Adriano Senetiner and today Bodega Viniterra has over 80 hectares planted in its vineyard in Agrelo, Lujan de Cuyo. The winery produces a range of young, aged and sparkling wines using an extensive portfolio of grape varieties including Carmenere, Pinot Noir, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Malbec, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Bodega Cabrini winery is a family enterprise which is now run by the fifth generation of winemakers. Cabrini offers guided tours during which tourists can the first vines which were planted by Italian winemaker Don Leandro Cabrini in 1918. There is also a family museum which has a range of pieces and family memorabilia.
Cabrini winery is based in Perdriel in Lujan de Cuyo, although Cabrini also has vineyards in Ugarteche in Lujan de Cuyo, as well as Tupungato and El Cepillo in the Uco Valley. Varieties include Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Bonarda, Syrah, Lambrusco, Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay.
RJ Viñedos is a traditional brand and winery in Mendoza founded in 1998 by winemaker Raúl Jofré and his family. Raúl has inherited his passion for winemaking from his grandfather and his French ancestors who were wine producers during the 19th century. The RJ Viñedos winery is open for tourism; offering tours and various tasting including wine and chocolate, the ‘Malbec experience’ and VIP tastings with the winemaker Raúl Jofré himself. Their brands include Joffré e Hijas and Pasión 4.
Familia Cassone winery is a boutique and family operation in Mendoza founded by second-generation winemaker Eduardo Cassone and his two sons. Most of Familia Cassone’s vineyards are located in the Primera Zona of Lujan de Cuyo. The winery produces a huge portfolio of wines including Chardonnay, Torrontes, Sauvignon Blanc, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon as well as blends and sparkling wines. Familia Cassone also produces its own olive oil range named after Eduardo Cassone’s mother, Dominga, and you can taste the wines and olive oil with a visit to the winery.
