Fuego Blanco winery and vineyard is owned by Bodega Los Toneles in Mendoza and makes top quality wines from the renowned high altitude Pedernal Valley in San Juan.
Some wines of particular note from their portfolio include the Fuego Blanco Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.
Cara Sur winery is the boutique project of winemaker Sebastian Zuccardi and his winemaking wife Marce, and of agronomist Pancho Bugallo and his wife Nuria. The foursome make artisanal wines from old vines of Criolla varieties (including Criolla Chica, Moscatel Rosada, Moscatel Tinto and Moscatel Blanco) and Bonarda in the high altitude region of Barreal in Calingasta Valley (which is closer to Uspallata in Mendoza than San Juan).
