This young winery was established in 2007 in Alto Cachapoal although within the vineyards there’s a beautiful old chapel, built in 1830. Within the 35 hectare vineyard, Valle Secreto mainly produces Bordeaux varieties (including very good Cabernet Franc) but also has Syrah, Sauvignon Blanc and a late harvest Viognier.

Valdivieso winery was founded in 1879 and made its name as a sparkling wine producer. Since the 80s, Valdivieso has also been producing still wines which add to its diverse portfolio making some 15 million bottles a year. Caballo Loco is the interesting blend series from different regions in Chile.
Los Confines is a wine made from old Moscatel vines which are inside a prison in Malleco, southern Chile. Yes – inside a prison. As part of a social responsibility program to train the incarcerated in new professions, VICAP (Viñas Capitán Pastene) winery owners Raúl Narvaez Reyes and Juan Pablo Lepín Leonelli spend time training the prisoners on how to tend the vineyard from pruning through to harvest. The vineyard inside the prison is of Moscatel vines over 100 years old. VICAP is also set to produce a Syrah and Sangiovese.
Tres Palacios winery and vineyards are in the coastal region of Maipo, in Cholqui, and their wines have a distinctive style of elegance and brightness. Viña Tres Palacios was founded by Patricio Palacio in 1996 and it remains a family-run winery and business today.
