This Granito Semillon comes from an isolated block of old vine Semillon from the coastal region of Maule, where the deep granite soils have been home to these vines for over 80 years. This boutique production of Semillon is made by Bouchon Family Wines and has quickly become an icon of the winery and also helped spark a revival of old vine Semillon in South America. Made with minimal intervention.
Bouchon Family Wines was established in Maule in 1977 and in recent years has become one of the leaders of pioneering modern Maule wines with respect for the traditional varieties, winemaking methods, dry farming and terroirs of the region.
