Apu winery and vineyard is the highest altitude wine production in Peru to date. In Curahuasi (120km from Cusco), the vineyards range from 2,850 to 3,300 meters above sea level.
Here the wines are produced with a winter harvest and acidity is sharp and bright. Apu has Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese planted to date.
